The hotel offers comfortable and well-maintained rooms with private balconies, though noise and odd smells were occasional concerns. The outstanding service and beautiful, albeit somewhat challenging to find, location make for a serene stay. Dining options varied in quality, and the facilities were satisfactory.

I was given an upgraded room which turned out to be an attic-like room with only a single small roof window. The room had a balcony with a view over the pool, however, it was noisy as it was just below the kitchen. I initially thought breakfast was included in the price but it was not, so be careful with that.

Rooms
6.0
The attic-like room with a balcony and pool view was a bit noisy due to its proximity to the kitchen.
Service

The staff at the hotel was always helpful and friendly. They provided a warm and welcoming service throughout my stay.
Location

The location was lovely, with a peaceful environment filled with birdsong. It was very convenient for exploring the Normandy beaches and D-Day museums, with easy access to the American Cemetery and other important monuments.
Dining

The dining experience was a bit of a letdown as the food was overpriced and didn't meet my expectations. The Italian dishes were satisfactory, but the pricing was a drawback.

Although the room was tiny and not what I expected for the price I paid, the hotel was situated excellently beside beautiful surroundings. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly, from the reception to the ladies at breakfast and even the cleaning staff. The location was a huge plus, despite being somewhat difficult to find. The dining was expensive and not exceptional, with no nearby alternatives. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel offers up-to-date amenities.

Rooms
5.0
The room was tiny and not at all what I expected for the price I reserved before arrival, feeling a bit like a scolded child. However, the hotel's surroundings were excellent.
Service
9.0
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing information about the premises and the nearby village of Port-en-Bessin. The room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, welcome drink, pet amenities, and tours/ticket assistance were all top-notch.
Location
8.0
The location was a huge plus, despite being somewhat difficult to find. The setting in the valley with beautiful hydrangeas nearby was very nice. The hotel's proximity to various attractions like St Mere-Eglise, Point-du-Hoc, Utah beaches, Arromanches, British beaches, and Port en Bessin was convenient.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was not exceptional and quite expensive, with limited alternatives nearby. I was surprised to find additional charges for items I thought were included. The grilled dishes were satisfactory.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were modern and well-maintained, offering amenities such as up-to-date features. However, some details like difficult-to-manage hair dryers were noted.

My stay at the hotel was delightful! The rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Although the dining experience could have been better with more food variety, the well-maintained pool area was a great spot to unwind. The price was reasonable for what was offered.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and a good size, very comfortable, but could use a freshen up soon. However, my room was not in the main building but in the annex next door, which meant a lot of stairs with no lift.

The rooms were very comfortable.
Service

The service was top-notch. They were more than happy to move us to a much nicer and open room with a balcony. The staff, including the restaurant team, were very courteous and efficient.
Location
9.0
The location was good for us, especially since we were visiting the beaches of Normandy. Port en Bessin is a delightful place with amazing coastal scenery and well-maintained surroundings.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were good with plenty to choose from, but it was a shame there was no emmental or 'simple' cheese for breakfast. The coffee, tea, express, and fresh orange juice were excellent.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were satisfying, but the hair dryers were a bit difficult to manage and became too hot to handle. Also, being right near the elevator ding could be noisy at times.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. However, the room size was small despite booking a superior room, and the presence of balconies on both sides led to constant smoke exposure due to people smoking throughout the day and night.

Rooms

I found the rooms to be very nice and comfortable.
Service

The dining experience was a bit disappointing despite being expensive. While there was lots of choice, there were some limitations like the absence of certain cheeses and occasional waiting times for items like milk in the morning.
