Mercure Bayeux Omaha Beach, Port-en-Bessin-Huppain

The hotel offers comfortable and well-maintained rooms with private balconies, though noise and odd smells were occasional concerns. The outstanding service and beautiful, albeit somewhat challenging to find, location make for a serene stay. Dining options varied in quality, and the facilities were satisfactory.

I was given an upgraded room which turned out to be an attic-like room with only a single small roof window. The room had a balcony with a view over the pool, however, it was noisy as it was just below the kitchen. I initially thought breakfast was included in the price but it was not, so be careful with that.

Although the room was tiny and not what I expected for the price I paid, the hotel was situated excellently beside beautiful surroundings. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly, from the reception to the ladies at breakfast and even the cleaning staff. The location was a huge plus, despite being somewhat difficult to find. The dining was expensive and not exceptional, with no nearby alternatives. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel offers up-to-date amenities.

My stay at the hotel was delightful! The rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Although the dining experience could have been better with more food variety, the well-maintained pool area was a great spot to unwind. The price was reasonable for what was offered.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and a good size, very comfortable, but could use a freshen up soon. However, my room was not in the main building but in the annex next door, which meant a lot of stairs with no lift.
